Hello GMC, welcome to my small Alternate Workout! Obviously, it's about Alternate Picking.

What is it about? Well basically I want to play some licks common for 3nps patterns but in a different way. So I take it like this, instead of playing 3 notes on B string I play one note on high E and two notes on B string. In middle section I move on A and D strings to get different picking feel from lower strings.

We start with a downstroke on high E and our picking motion is changing all the time cause we have odd number of notes(3)in each group. Which means next time we play high E, it's an upstroke etc.

Tempo is 130bpm,key of G# Minor, we play 16th notes all the time.

Cheers and practice hard:)

Sounds great! I really enjoyed the second guitar work (harmonizations). But it sounds like with an effect, doen't it? Sounds like a synth...

Gabriel, yeah, that is synth,I wanted to do it with guitar tho
but it would be impossible to have it in all backing track,
stretching would be too heavy I guess.

Muris, I feel that isolated technique practice lessons are equally important as mixed technique lessons. You created an excellent workout that sounds great! Thank you for such a nice sounding composition.

Thanks man! This is great will help me get the Extreme Neo-Classical 16th trips faster. Finished the leason (Extreme Neo) and can play at 90bpm, but the 16th trips get me (think it is the alternate picking at that speed). I will get better.

Thanks again

Great lesson! Wow, it's so difficult NOT to SWEEP to adjacent strings (from the third note of the triad back to the first)! It seems to go against my nature to do so!
