Hello GMC! Welcome to this lesson that is dedicated to the early years (the Ozzy years) of Black Sabbath. I received many requests for lessons in the style of Toni Iommi and also in the style of Sabbath so here we go!

I had that in mind for many time but I find inspiration after seeing Ozzy’s concert in Argentina. He played War Pigs and Paranoid that night and it was magic. People went crazy and I received a punch and a head blow in my noise. However I really enjoyed it! lol.

In this lesson I tried to use the most used riff types, intervals and guitar techniques to show you their style. I hope that you feel the vibe of one of the most important Heavy Metal bands of all times.

Key: E minor
Scale: E minor
Tempo: 90 bpm

Enjoy it!

Gabriel.-

Obviously the blows to the head didn't affect your playing. biggrin.gif It's completely in tune with how Black Sabbath plays. It would've been awesome if you had bitten the head off of a rubber bat at the end! biggrin.gif

Stevie·Ray·Vaughn: Yes, I used my new POD X3 live for this lesson. smile.gif I used one of the Messa Boggie amp simulators (called treadplate). I know that Sabbath don't use messa boggie but I love how it sounds. wink.gif
