Hello GMC! This lesson came out from what we have discussed in this thread

I listened "Animals" by Nickelback and I wrote a similar riff for the backing track. Then, I jammed over this backing track, using different techniques as bending, slides, legato, etc.

I used mainly the D minor pentatonic scale, adding few notes. Hope you like it!

Key: D Minor
Time signature: 4/4
Tempo: 156

Man I had a deja vu! I have been listening to this Nickelback all this week. It's an awesome song. That riff and the chorus are amazing!
You did a very good solo over it! Well done!

Thank you again.
Gabriel: I don't know too much Nickelback.. Maybe they are too mainstream.. Sometimes I listen to them on the radio while I'm driving and I can say their music sounds good on that context biggrin.gif

I think the very first Nickelback album was the best, I still listen to it now and then. Then they became more of a "turn-on-the-radio-and-listen" band as you say.

This sounds very rocking, I really feel like putting on a pair of sunglasses and a badass-looking attitude, while rocking through this lesson wink.gif
