Hi GMCers. In this lesson we will do down strokes and position shifting. In this exercise we are working in the 6th strings of the fretboard. So the start will be in E6 with palm muting on string E6, then to frets 12/11/10 and between them the E6.

Let's say like this (E6)x2-->12(E6)11(E6)10(E6)--->1/2/3..3/4/5..5/6/7..7/8/9..9/10/11.

After that we have to do the same thing in strings A5.D4.G3.E1. Then end the exercise with fret 12 in E1 with tremolo and sliding E5 power chord.

This exercise is a big challenge to your hand muscles and fingers, but try to do the whole exercise at once with out rest or stopping.

We have 3 backing tracks so yo can start with one of them.

Difficulties: All levels
Backing tracks: 160 BPM - 120 BPM - 80 BPM - 40 BPM
GP5 file: completed tracks as the clip
Gear: stratocaster - demarzio humpicks -lag spitfire TL1 preamp tube

Practice hard with down stroke and position shifting.
Hisham
