Hi, is Danilo here. Welcome to the fourth lesson about "Fingers Independence". I really appreciated your posts on my previous lessons, so voilā... here we are again!

In this lesson we look again at the independence and resistence of your fingers, but this time in a more gentle way, a little relax after the stretching of the lesson three, and with a look at very basic alternate picking.

Practice these exercises ten minutes each day at alternatives periods with the lesson one, two and three. Just try to practice slow and with costant time, it's not a run, it's cordination!
As ever, read the explanations and DON'T HURT YOURSELF!

See you next time, looking forward the fifth lesson of "Fingers Independence".

Thanks to everybody.

Thanks Danilo for yet a useful excercise! smile.gif

GMC:ers - I would like your feedback about this lesson series, as this kind of lesson is rather new to us. It will help our future lesson planning! smile.gif

I think it's worth mentioning that these exercises are excellent for classical guitar too. It's a good series! smile.gif

Great series- some of these exercises can be trickier than they look so id encourage people to try all the exercises from the series. Thanks Danilo.
Seems that this video is slightly harder to see in terms of light and video quality, but thanks again for the awesome exercises smile.gif

Also would recommend some nice riffs maybe incorporating these exercises so people could find it even more interesting. Just a thought...

It's cool to learn this stuff, becasue it realy improves your playing. The only thing is that it's maybe a bit unintresting to play this for a long time. So a little riff like Ivan said might be a good idear to. The series are good, but not to much I'd say, because now it's still cool, but if you do mutch it might get a bit to much of the same. Just to help tongue.gif

Sorry if the quality is a little bit low "Deeproots", but my monitor is getting old...I will buy another as soon as possible.
I now that make a cool riff is much more...cool...but my lessons are made to help with independence of fingers, these exercises are for the beginners. The " Finger Independence V" will be the last one of this series...then I look to the right hand basic. The cool riff will come, but I wanna make some basic lessons before. Thanks Ivan for the suggestion!

Interesting lessons are good, but I find that a "cut and dry" lesson is interesting compared to doing riffs all the time. Its also a lesson where you have nothing to focus on but the exact finger movements of your left hand.

For instance, since im not doing a melody, I can focus on making my fingers more perpendicular with the guitar neck.

Thats one thing with all the lessons that should be incorporated: More emphasis on finger positions. It was only a couple months ago that I learned that your hand should be square with the neck as much as possible, and by constant reminder, I have improved because of it.

oh yes, keep doing things your way Danilo, everyone learns things differently!
