sooooooo muris i guess the timeing lesson........was to prepare us for this...well um ok i will give it a shot.....but i cant say its going to sound the same lol.... you totaly rock
Muris, You're playing has inspired me.
On frame 5 two handed tapping, you don't seem to need to mute behind the notes. But I get all that ringing from the other side of the string.
Are you hanging something over the guitar to dampen the strings?
Thanks for the awesome lessons!
Kosei Kubota4th February 2008Wow!
Tour de force!
Jerry Arcidiacono4th February 2008Awesome solo! ![]()
Muris Varajic4th February 2008Thanks guys,appreciate it!! ![]()
ScoJoh,yes,I'm using my homemade dumpener to prevent some strings from ringing.
Actually I can play most of those lick clean without it
but it's there just in case to be 100% sure and make things easier and more
comfortable to play.
If you wanna make something similar,HERE it is. ![]()
David Wallimann4th February 2008Beautiful, this is so usable. Thanks so much Muris!
Kizaze444th February 2008WOW, Muris, you are a guitar GOD!

Unleash-The-Shred5th February 2008Muris you never seize to impress haha.
Muris Varajic5th February 2008Doing my best guys,thanks a bunch!! ![]()
Muris, this dumpner as you call it, is this type of thing used by other players or did you come up with it? If you could find a way to do this and still play the open strings you would rich.
Muris Varajic6th February 2008Dumpener is quite well known thing in certain circles of players. ![]()
No,I didn't invent it as a tool but I made one by myself on quite specific formula.
Check out my gear sub board, there's a thread about it.
In a meanwhile you can have one by using hairgum.
When you want to play open strings you just move it behind the nut,
simple as that. ![]()
Hi Muris you are truly amazing the way you play the guitar. Congratulations i wish i can play like thate.
Muris Varajic10th February 2008Thanks Frank ![]()
It needs some practicing nonetheless but it's NOT impossible,
don't ever give up and say I WANT to play like this, then go for it!
Let me know if you need any help tho. ![]()
Muris you are truly amazing the way you play the guitar. I wish I can play like that .
Muris Varajic11th February 2008

Carlos Carrillo3rd March 2008hey muris!!!
perfect lesson!!!
thanks
how do you know when to change modes so that it doesn't feel like you are playing out of the key or change keys so smoothly so it doesn't seem like your changing keys p.s. you rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

oooooock !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Muris Varajic5th April 2008Wow,now that was loooooong post,thanks! ![]()
Young Guitarist18th April 2008hehe! Great job Muris ![]()
I recorded the backing tracks off so I could practice with them. The first one I called "slow," the second one is "faster" 100 is "about right for me, anyway" and 110 is "too fast" and 120 is called "MURIS." My fingers feel horribly insufficient when they watch you play.
I'm just trying to make you laugh, but this is about the coolest thing I've ever learned! Thanks for the great lesson, you're the best!
Muris Varajic19th April 2008Hey,glad you're having fun with it,you're welcome!! ![]()
FrankW7th May 2008You're a truly gifted player, Muris. If you don't have a cd out, you need to make that happen. You're a player's player and people need to hear what can be done with the electric guitar if they practice real hard and eat their cornflakes
Noangels5th August 2008faultless playing
Muris Varajic5th August 2008Thanks a lot guys. ![]()
Pedja Simovic18th September 2008Muris I love Greg Howe style tapping in this one.
Brilliant !
Muris Varajic18th September 2008Cheers mate ![]()
ja sviram 009-042 i nemam nikakvih problema,
sve je stvar licne prirode.
Takodjer mozes probati Elixir zice, one su oblozene
sto sprecava koroziju al i ispod ruke su dosta "mekse".
Moras malo experimentisati sa time
dok nenadjes ono sto ti najvise odgovara.
P.S. sorry for foreign language guys,
we spoke a bit about strings and gauge. ![]()
ErikEklund28th October 2008So Awsome muris!

Jeff4th February 2009Muris,
I've always been amazed at your ability to play guitar. All of your lessons are incredible. But this one is just unreal. In my opinion it is the best. Played so perfectly. Hats off man! I really want to work at this. Even if I just take away only a few riffs it would be worth it. Thanks so much, man!
Muris Varajic4th February 2009Give it a shot Jeff and thanks for your kind comment,
glad you like the lesson! ![]()
GGTopGuitarist11th August 2009aaah now this has got to be my favourite

Muris Varajic11th August 2009Rock it out. ![]()

Inspired by great fusion players like Greg Howe, Guthrie Govan, Bret Garsed etc I tried to combine many techniques, timings, odd grouping, smooth phrasing and on and on.
