In here we are going to explore phrasing using wider intervals to give more color to our playing. Scale wise it's still B Dorian basically, B Blues scale here and there, a few neighbor notes and that's all.

Welcome to Fusion Jam serial, Intermediate level. In here we are going to explore phrasing using wider intervals to give more color to our playing.

Scale wise it's still B Dorian basically, B Blues scale here and there, a few neighbor notes and that's all.

As you can see, I'm not starting each lick on the first beat in the bar, I'm missing some note values and then I play. Sometime it's 4th, 8th, even 16th note.

It's really important to follow these "misses" and to incorporate them later on into your own playing.
That way your playing will sound much more interesting, smoother etc. ;)

Same as before, key of B minor, tempo 120bpm, 4/4 bar. Don't forger modulation into Cm key at the end. :D

    Have fun!
