   Welcome to my first Stevie Ray Vaughan lesson! Today we'll try to pick some elements of his playing.
The goal in these types of lessons are to incorporate a new style into your own musical vocabulary.

Stevie Ray tunes a half step down, just like many blues players do. But to simplify, we'll play in standard tuning in the key of Eb.

Have fun!

Great lesson. This is going into the queue of awesome GMC lessons I need to learn.

The opening lick seemed to nod at Alice Cooper's School's Out opening riff...nice.

Hey, is it possible that the tabs of fourth video got 2 little mistakes?
I marked my changes with || on the unused e string:
------------||------------------------------------||-||
--11------------------------L------------------------||
--11----------------13pbr---L--11--------------------||
--------13--11--13-----------------13--11--13--11----||
--------------------------------------------------13-||
-----------------------------------------------------||

I'm not very experienced, so don't shoot me if I'm wrong wink.gif
