Hello GMC! It's time for last lesson from Jazzy Swing package, this one is sort of hardest, Advanced level. But don't afraid, there are few bit faster runs inside, rest of it might be played by almost every mid-ranged player.

So as we know, it's in key of D major, so D major scale is what we use the most plus neighbor notes
and some "out" of scale notes, guided by chord progression.

Have fun with it, shout if you need any help!! :)

Muris Varajic

Awesome - the advanced version! biggrin.gif I really liked how you used some "shred-style" sweeps in a jazz context.

Great Lesson Muris.

You're such a great player to play the different styles with such ease smile.gif

I'd like to have a try at this one or the easier lesson cause jazz is a mystery to me.

Wow
As always amazing! This is a really great lesson for people like me that are realy into other styles like metal, because learning something this different from what your used to playing opens up new doors of what your own style can be when mixing everything you know.Definatly gotta learn this one!

Thanks Juan smile.gif

Thinking of chord progression while playing lead is really important to play "smart and smooth",
not only in Jazz but in every genre actually. wink.gif
