			The Mixolydian mode is the weapon of choice to play over a Dominant 7 chord. This collection of licks should give you a few ideas to develop your own Mixolydian vocabulary!

		In today's lesson, we'll study a collection of licks in the Mixolydian mode. These licks are all very usable in many different musical situations and should hopefully inspire you to come up with your own variations. 





To make things interesting, we'll go through the following keys:



G Mixolydian, 

A Mixolydian, 

F# Mixolydian 

G Mixolydian



Memorize the scale first, then work your way through the licks. Once you are comfortable with those, try to use them in your own music and be creative!
