Lliber,you probably think of MAB dampener,that thing on the guitar headstock?
It does cover first few frets but only when you put it in that position
which wasn't the case here,it was in upper position so it doesn't have any contact
with strings or frets.

Muris I just love everything you do! In every style, if it's country, rock, jazz, fusion or whatever, you allways write such beautiful and challenging pieces. I can not with words describe how much I love your lessons and thw way you play the guitar but what I can say is that since I saw you, you've been my biggest source for inspiration both with crazy licks but especially with my practice routine. This evening, I tried for the first time to study this lesson. Now my fingers are almost bleeding, my hands are shaking, all my neighbors committed suicide, but it feels incredibly GOOD. This lesson is so awesome, clearly one of the very best of GMC in my opinion.

A couple of reasons for that: This is just beautiful, even though this is shredding. Usually shredding sounds boring if it's just fast. This is also groovy and has been phrased with intelligence.

Hello GMC! For today we have the well known Pachebel's Canon in D! I did a small arrangement on my own and I really hope you're gonna like it. So, the main thing that I've changed is the basic groove, instead of common 4 or 8 grouping here we have shuffle/swing feel. I also break the whole rhythm into half time so the tempo is 95 bpm.
Technique wise, well, I did lots of stuff, tapping, alt. picking, hybrid picking, skipping, 2 hand tapping etc. So I would say it's on Advanced Level BUT as always I'm providing you with lots of slow backing tracks so that you can practice this without pushing yourself above your current limits.
Scale wise we'll be using D major scale and it's components plus D Mixo b6 at one point.
