Hello GMC! This lesson is a solo in the style of power metal bands like Angra, Gamma Ray, Stratovarius, and others. It begins with a nice minor scale melody and then you have a very speed alternate picking part that includes some licks in the style of Yngwie Malmsteen.

In this solo we will use E minor scale, E harmonic minor scale and also some arpeggios.

This is the chord progression:

Em – B – D –A – C – G – B – B

I recorded 2 backing track loops (150 bpm & 130 bpm) for you to practice and improvisation.

Enjoy the solo!

Gab.-

Hey Wyvernx! It could be. Blind Guardian's music and guitar work is very interesting. I don't know if there are too many GMC fans of them but I'll think about it. Thank you Jammer!

Ecliptica is great, Silence also has some amazing songs. I'll focus on your power metal lessons in the near future, would love to be able to play some of those. ;-)
