Daniel Robinson23rd May 2008This is awesome Harris, maybe you could go into some detail about how you construct your rhythm riffs it would help alot of people including myself.
I have too much tendency to fall back on my typical 80's riff ideas and would love to be able to construct more complex rhythms
Daniel
Harris Sopovic23rd May 2008Thanks for the comments guys !,
And Daniel. Yeah i guess i could do that.
For this riff in particular i got the idea from a symphony x song where Romeo uses an open string first and then connecting the other notes with hammerons. So i just applied the technique with my own favorite notes to play. But yeah, i'll go through that sometime
cheers

Heavy riffing and soloing influenced by Symphony X. The main riff is good for warming up and helps you get your hands in sync.
