Hi everybody! Today I propose to you a lesson on the slide guitar!
In this lesson I experiment the use of a resophonic guitar plug in my LAA-Custom amp using the lead channel. It's strange but it sound good!
The guitar is tuned in open D tuning: D A D F# A D (from the lowest string).
In the video it's hard to see what the slide do and I advise you, if you have a problem, to read the guitar tab file. I do my best to sign every passage of the slide without strange notations to make all clearly. But if you have a problem contact me! I'm happy to help you!
Some names of slide guitarists that you must know: Duane Allman, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Sonny Landreth, Dave Holl, Joe Bonamassa, Ben Harper, Rory Gallagher, Jeff Haley, John Campbell, Ry Cooder, Muddy Waters, Billy Gibbons, Bukka White, John Lee Hooker, Elmore James.
I use a metal slide but there are slides that are built of glass, ceramics and other materials.
