Excellent! Yet another reason for me to get a Jem!! That's great Pavel, this is an area that doesn't get a lot of coverage, and I always wondered exactly how people like Steve Vai did that kind of stuff - Awesome, thanks!

Yes, you're right - I should have said another reason to persuade my wife to let me buy a Jem She'll let me in the end, she's pretty good about it, I just need to work it a little ...

hey pavel, I wanted to ask you if this licks, this one and metal blues are of your own, or from a famous band?

Everything on this site is my own stuff! Instructors are not allowed to make lessons of some famous band's songs! And btw. i didn't play someone's song for a pretty long time now 'cause i enjoy much more creating my own stuff!

Neat stuff Pavel! Tastefully played as ever. If I did that to my guitar it wouldn't speak to me for months . That's a really nice Jem btw and well handled. David

I might buy an Ibanez, but I wonder: How is the edge pro tremolo compared to other floyd roses?

Why dont they make a whammy bar effects pedal?

IDontWantThisUsername: it's like 90% same tremolo! The difference is in cutting the ball. You have to cut it on Floyd but not on Edge Pro

There IS a whammy effect pedal, the Digitech Whammy pedal. however, it is pricey ($200 new)and not as good an a bar in terms of feel, sound quality and controlability.

I bought an Ibanez with ZR (Zero Resistance) tremolo today =D. But at the moment the name isn't comparable with the tremolo. It stays in tune if you even start trying to rip the strings out of the guitar(good thing of course), but there's pretty much resistance when I use the tremolo bar. Is that just in the start?
Do you think it will live up to its name when I have used it for a while?

Dunno m8! I didn't play on ZR tremolos. I can only say that Edge Pro bridges are really soft to use. No effort required at all

I'm having trouble with the natural harmonics lick. I understand the technique but I'm not getting much sound out of the 10th fret. Any ideas?
