Hello GMC! This is my first video here at GMC. I hope that you enjoy this exercise.
Its a solo from a song of mine called "Willpower". It contains a few basic techniques and phrasings that are often used in metal solos.

The idea with the solo is learning what you can do with the most common scales and patterns.

Enjoy

Tempo/timesignature: 100BPM - 4/4

OMG!!! I just finished vid 1 and 2 and realized i could solo pretty well with just those notes. This lesson is just mind blowing. What scale did you use apart from blues scale and what key is it in?

Thanks alot for the nice comments guys!. The solo is in F minor. And apart from the blues scale i used regular minor and major scales. As for the equipment, I use a Pod XT with the standard preset (3D:L6 Agro). The duncan pickups on my Esp/Ltd Baritone guitar stand for the good sound tho.
