You'll be challenged by string skipping over 1, 2 and 3 strings, stretching and linear runs at the same time! This one is a bit different than the previous rock lessons but it also has some cool stuff to learn - especially some useful alternate picking licks. This solo is a mixture of all techniques and i hope it will be a useful one!  Difficulty 6 of 10 Heavy Metal RiffingIn this lesson we'll continue working on rhythm guitar. Similar to my previous riffing lessons, we'll use Phrygian Major scale for this one. Oh yes - this scale sounds wild in riffing stuff! Also you'll meet trills and learn how to use them in small inserts between the rythm parts of riffs. Wanna riff?? Get in here!  Difficulty 6 of 10 Clean/Acoustic LessonWe have already spoken about Clean Strumming- let's continue with a "semi-acoustic" serie - as this lesson can be played on both electric and acoustic guitar. In this Rythm 'n Solo lesson we will cover some new chord shapes and learn how to use open strings. The lesson is based on chords so if you want to learn more chord shapes - check this one out!  Difficulty 6 of 10 Clean Strumming LessonLet's work on some clean strumming and some slow licks, as well as new chord shapes. The lesson can be played on acoustic guitar, but you'll have to skip a little vibrato stuff at the end (not that important). Take a look at this one and you will get some highly useful approaches down!  Difficulty 6 of 10 Neoclassical Alternate Picking EtudeThis exercise is a short neo-classical song in the style of Vinnie Moore, John Petrucci and Yngwie Malmsteen. This is a good exercise to practice alternate picking, sweep picking and a little of string skipping.  Difficulty 6 of 10 Rock Rhythm 'n Solo Lesson 3Let's continue working on Rock Rythm 'n Solo - you will meet a new approach to writing and also play a bit more complicated licks in between the chords. You'll see how you can incorporate sweep picking into slow runs but also how to use fast sweep picking arpeggios for use outside of the solo, to use as small licks. If you have already practiced sweep picking, you can be sure you'll enjoy this one...!  Difficulty 6 of 10 Rock Rhythm 'n Solo Lesson 2Let's continue working on rock rythm guitar mixed with small solo/lead sections. In the last lesson we mostly used double-stops to create rhythm guitar patterns. Well, now we will concentrate mostly on full chord shapes. Ready for some rhythm guitar? Hop in!
