Today only, prime day deal at Amazon: JBL LSR 305 monitors are priced at $180 a pair. This is not the mkII version, but that's an amazing price for what may be the best 5" studio monitors you can buy for under $500.

Schecter Apocalypse. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, and for the hard rock style I generally play its really great. I love the feel of it and it has just the right set of features for me. I love the sustainiac!

I lent it to my friend David and he posted a review video on YouTube:

One of the coolest new products I saw at NAMM today was the iRig Stomp I/O. It's a floor controller with 4 switches and an expression pedal combined with a high quality audio interface. It has a USB connector so you can use it to control an amp modeler running on a computer, and a lightning connector so you can use it with an iPhone or iPad. It has a dock for the iPad/iPhone. And it includes a ton of IK software, including Amplitube. All for under $300.

It won't be anybody's primary rig, but for a fun portable lightweight fly rig, it's pretty cool.

My portable iPhone rig is a IK Blueboard and an Apoggee Jam, which has the advantage of no wires between the foot controller (it uses Bluetooth) but if you need the additional audio interface features of the irig Stomp I/O, it's pretty cool.

Here's the latest effort in my project that combines progressive industrial metal with fractal video animations. I'd appreciate any feedback on the composition, performance, or mixing.
