A new friend of mine, Mike Matney did this song as a joke as he is a guitarist, but though it would be funny to have a rap song. I added some metal guitar to the mix just for fun. Mike has a FB page that can be found here. www.facebook.com/pages/HoundDog-M…/171367619546678

Note, Mike is the father of the young man I posted earlier playing drums to the Rush song YYZ!

Which if anyone happened to miss that.... the link is here. Worth a watch, the video itself isn't great, but his drumming skills are killer!

This guy is 14 and in my son's drumline at their High School. I believe if I remember correctly, his dad got him started around 9 or 10 years old. Excellent drummer!!!

He has played some live shows and been recorded along with his dad on a CD that they recorded featuring Greg Martin of the Kentucky Head Hunters.

EXCELLENT Drummer!!

Anyone interested in Vito needs to check this out. This gentleman does an excellent lesson for Vito's Wait solo.

I was just curious if anyone else in our ranks plays any variety of Steinberger guitar or any other headless type guitar?

OR

if you've given one a serious chance to play before....

What do you think?

The little boat oar style or "original" design is actually extremely comfortable to play with the kickstand. It has been the best guitar when recording and sitting near a desk. No head stock or large body to bang around, plus while on your leg using the kickstand, it puts the guitar in kinda a "classical guitar style" position when playing and you can take your hands off of it to use your mouse and keyboard if you are using your computer to record and it just basically sits there. No head stock to weigh it down and make it fall over.

Anyone...?

I'm improvising in Am to a cool backing track from gfbx24 on YouTube. I'm playing a cheapO steinberger headless knock off guitar off Ebay. It needs some more work, but I got the tremolo working and action setup pretty well. Also got the intonation pretty close.... I'm no expert at that BTW. Anyhow.... I could submit some pics... but it's really nothing special, looks just like a Steinberger Spirit. Shortly before this my neck pickup decided to stop working... LOL! that's what you get, but I literally didn't expect much from this thing as I bought it to use as a beater travel guitar.... it's small and it works.... well half works. smile.gif
