Hi all.

It´s been a while since i last changed my strings but a few days ago my high E-string disrupted so i had to get a new set of strings. Everything worked perfect up to now. I started learning trond´s Canon Rock Lesson (which is great btw) and noticed in the second part that i´m not able to do pinch harmonics anymore....it´s like i was trying to do PHs for the very first time. All i can do is a really quiet squeak, but that´s absolutely not as loud as it was with my old strings So does this have anything to do with my new strings? Do i have to wait until i can do PHs on them or does the spot where PHs work differ from string set to string set?

Since i first heard the songs of KMC metal i really started to like their style, though i usually don´t listen to that kind of music. So are there any recommendable bands that have the same or a similar style?
Thanks
