Hi!

Me and some other guys would appreciate a In the Style of machine Head Lesson, focused un the albums Burn My eyes and The Blackening. Here's a Link to the thread: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=22455

Some Instructor wants to take this challenge? Maybe Ian or Lian?

Hi!

Beíng a huge fan of the Popular Thrashmetal-Band Machine Head, i would love to study a lesson in their style. I think Burn my Eyes, Through the Ashes of Empire and The Blackening are the best albums.

Does any Instructor like them too? I#m sure laugh.gif But who will take this challenge?

Maybe we should also talk about what especially we like in this band (is there's anyone who likes this band^^)

I love the simple fat riffs with a bit of harmonics and the killer soli which often remind me to classical etudes.

hey there!

somewhere on gmc or in the wide world of music i heard a little tune which grew step by step to a whole melody i can't get out of my head. i think a very similar medlody already exists, but i'm not sure, so maybe you can help me. i added a guitar pro file. please tell me if you already know this little piece maybe from a classical piece. and maybe you'll have an idea for the ending, because it's melidoc flow is broken there. at least i feel so^^ so if there's an idea of yours, just make a new gp file!

Hey guys!

Last year, i was at the Wacken festivalin near Hamburg, Germany for the first time, and it was amazing! It exists for 18 years and the organizers really have a lot of experience. It was my fifth festival and definitely the best one. Thast's why I'll go there this year again.
I'm from Austria, so have to travel 1000km north. I will travel by bus, what will take me about 15 hours.
There are going to be so many diffrent people from so many countries! Lat year I saw Peoble from Sweden, Netherlands, Austria, Finnlang, England, France, Tschechoslowenia and i even sang a Spanish drinking songs with some spanish guy...^^ btw, i saw blind guardian.. hehe.

It's the biggest Metal Festival on earth. This years headline is Iron Maiden!

Have you ever been there? Will you go there? What do you know about it?

Hello!

As you may have noticed, i'll buy a Gibson les paul studio wr gh. Until now, the only thing i used was guitar --> simple all in one effect --> amp. thats what i want to change.

My question: is it better to buy all effects seperated in pedals?

Of course i would like to use a tube amp and so on... i mean those long boxes on the speaker... sorry for my crappy explanation^^

please help me to find the right eqipment for a fine rock/metal gear. maybe you can bring some examples!

here's a list of what I think i need (always expandable by YOU)

1. Wah-Wah
2. Distortion/Overdrive
3. Chorus
4. Phaser
5. Delay

last question: What would be the right order to connect all those things?
