I found a south park style character generator so I took the liberty of creating one of the GMC instructors. Let's see if you guys can figure out who it is! (check the image name for a hint if you can't get it)

I want to see what you guys create now!

South Park Character Generator
20 Jun 2009
One day I was browsing youtube, watching live performances of Steve Vai, Satch, Malmsteen I saw down in that little corner in the box titled "related videos", a guitarist by the name of Muris Varajic. I clicked it (it was his "Extreme Neoclassical" lesson) watched it in AWE of his fretboard prowess. So I went through his youtube profile and watched all his videos over and over again (I sound like an obsessed crazy stalker tongue.gif). Then one day I decided I'd finally check out the link to GMC on his video descriptions ($10 off from his link, good deal, eh?), I watched some more videos and found out what this community is all about. I was thrilled to see other musicians who take themselves seriously. So, I subscribed, and that's how I found and joined the community.

Now about ME biggrin.gif:
I'm an 18 year old male that lives in Nova Scotia, Canada. I've enjoyed music all my life. I've enjoyed artists such as: Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest, Satch, Malmsteen, Vai, Michael Angelo Batio, Chris Impellitteri, Paul Gilbert, Tony MacAlpine, Joe Stump and so on.
I first picked up a guitar when I was 14, but I got frustrated and stopped playing after a month or two. So the guitar went on the back burner, so to speak. When I reached grade 10 in highschool, my friends (all musicians in some way) lit a fire under me to start dedicating time to guitar, so at age 16, I started again. I practised my ass off, day in and out. After I started playing again, I soon found the genre of shred. I watched them in awe. It basically motivated my multiple times more to actually become proficient at the guitar. After those two years of practising and such, I surpassed my friends' technical abilities on guitar (I tried to word it less egotistically), in fact, they started to just become amazed at my skills.
The main thing I hope to get from this community is to tighten up my playing, get closer to my goals of playing some of Muris Varajic's lessons full speed, help my compositional skills and learn musical theory. Compositional skills and theory are the largest reason why I joined this community because I found it difficult to find theory books and/or videos related to GUITAR that I would be able to understand without frustration.

Thanks for reading this tongue.gif
