Hi Ari!

From what I see, you started working hard. Your take sounds promising.

The main thing that should be fixed is the timing. Don't rush the notes.

You have moments when you tend to play the notes between the power chords a little shorter than they are. This thing creates some tiny pauses. Because of that, the melody doesn't sound glued. Each note matters if you want to make your playing shine.

Some of the notes should be played with vibrato as Gab does in his take. This will add a different flavor to your take.

It would be awesome if at the final of the take you will play the last power chord as Gab did in his take. I just noticed that it was missing from the tabs from the lesson. Don't worry, this will not affect your grade. I just thought that it would be great if you would add this power chord, to make your take have an end.

Be very careful when you mute the strings after you play the power chords to not make additional noises (as example: 0:06; 0:26).

Keep up your great work! You get a 6 from me.

Bro, you are a rocker!!   😎

Very cool to see that you have the technique to pull this off, you should soon be able to tackle a variety of different lessons on the site!

The big thing here as Monica said, is to play this tight. You need to convey you are in control of this piece. Currently it sounds more like you are rushing to catch up, and many of your notes are slightly ahead of the beat.

So if my 'https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=63400&st=0#entry801300' advice was important in your Ballad take - then it's your holy bible here!

Of course, first things first - make sure you can play this in your sleep first. Then, when you are ready for it - record yourself rocking away and try not to think too much.

It is still up to you if you want to polish this one or move on - you get a solid 7 from me for this entry level lesson!
