Played the riff in classical position as Todd suggested and I think my left hand position has improved with suggestions from Monica. Looking forward to feedback :-)

Hi Gert!

I want to say that I really like your attitude. You work hard and the improvements are very visible.

Your right hand looks ok. I like the fact that you keep your hand in touch with the strings. This is exactly what I wanted to see. Great job on that.

Now, because I would like to see how well you have understood the palm muting technique, I will give you a new lesson.
One tip: don't hurry and give yourself enough time to learn the lesson. Be careful because you have parts played with muting and parts without muting.

Now a few words about your left hand. Definitely looks better (not perfect) because each finger is positioned on a fret. That's a really good thing.

At this moment, your fingers don't have a natural movement, but this will come with practice. That's why, let's take a step further and put your fingers at work. For this task I will give you another lesson. In this way, you will start moving your fingers better and you will also get used with the C major scale.

Overall, your take sounds really nice. There are some notes which don't sound perfectly equal but you fixed all the things that we asked from you. So....you have an 8 from me.

Well done!! It's good to see you in classical position!! It will feel very strange at first. Over time it will feel very comfortable. Ideally the placement of the guitar should be similar both standing up and sitting down. Playing in classical position puts the guitar roughly where it should be when you play standing up. If you find the guitar is slipping, you can add a strap even sitting down which can help.

Glad you got your foot rest as well! It helps to raise the guitar neck angle. I see your guitar angle has improved quite a bit and the neck is no longer pointing down. I would suggest a bit more tilt up on the guitar neck if possible. Bringing the guitar neck up a bit will bring the fret board closer and the angle should make palm muting easier.

Your technique is solid here and your groove is good! Some great feedback from Monica as always!!! You are making great progress! Keep it up!!

Nice - your are def keeping up a good progress pace!

To me the biggest issue here is when you fret on the 3 fret with your middle finger you are bending the string a little bit causing the note to go out of tune. It's not a biggie in this context though.

You also got some great lesson suggestions by Monica and I also think you are ready to move on now.
