Posted by: redsoxfan92490 Sep 3 2006, 02:19 AM

well if you guys havent heard of him, his name is trey tosh, hes 14 now and people say hes a prodgiy. i think hes just an extremely talented guitarist who has put in a crap load of practice time. Im not nearly as good as him, but i can tell where he's coming from. he loves SRV like i do and many others do. but the his choice of clothing and immitated facial expressions are a little much. Trey your very good. Just cut the SRV wanna be act. find yourself. dont impersonate. here is a clip of him doin little wing. seach youtube for "trey tosh" to get some of his other stuff.

That guy was so-so. The most impressive playing from a kid I've ever heard was Johan Randen on his first album "Lead Guitar":

Check out the track "Fractured Finger Phophia". Johan was only 12 when he recorded that album with Mattias Eklundh.

He's a bit older now...

Johan Randen is ablsoute slaughter - he recorded an album IA Eklundh who is standing right beside him in the vid.

Both are just amazing - and they sound very similar!! (teacher and student) :shock

I think Johan came into his own on his second album, "Version 2.0". He no longer sounds as much like IA on that one.

Did not really like his attitude that much. I wouldnt say he is a "prodigy", did his playing really blow anyone away?

Now this kid can shred. When I first saw this I was extremely impressed. I hope this kids talent doesn't go to waste.
