Hi everyone.
I don´t think i´ve seen a Jeff Loomis style lesson arround.
He´s the guitarrist for nevermore, and has a solo cd also.
He plays alot of diminished riffs, licks, and is a sweep king. He´s a king on any technique really... I love his style, i think it would be a very cool lesson.
Any instructor out there want to give it a shot?

And from his solo album "His style really shows on he´s solo album, if anyone has a chance to check it out you should!)

All the best!
Hat's off to any instructor who can pull this of! The guys with the 7-Strings are neede for this one
His riffs are mostly seven string, but he´s solos very rarely touch it
Jeff Loomis is on another planet of playing. Not only is he technically amazing, he has emotion in songs, and he rocks at rhythm, lucky guy got all the skills!
I am reviving this old request.
Lian did a great job on the Nevermore riffing lesson but I think we still need some solo lesson in the style of mr. Loomis!
I am eager to learn a little something about his use of diminished scales and Jason Becker like sweepings...
