Do we have any GMCer here enjoying winter sports?

I already had two skiing days this season and last evening I went for ice-skating

We have beautiful mountains around Sarajevo where Winter Olympic Games were held back in '84, but my favorite is mountain Bjelasnica, the most difficult one with men's downhill slope

IF you call taking my dog on long walks and trying not to fall on my ass on the ice a winter sport, then yes. My dog likes this sport more than I do.

speaking about dogs, this one is mine

Sure, I do something called snowskate(mix of skateboard and snowboard).
I plan to start cross country skiing again, as soon as it starts snowing

they really like snow don't they. my theory on that is that the smells of animals really stand out in fresh snow. my dog goes nuts, runs around like a little kid in it. and I see your dog is having a good time also.

Sometimes i go fishing in the freezing cold, and by the end of it the ice is hanging off my nose

Wow nice pictures Dejan!

In Belgium there are no mountains, it doesn't even snow at this time (dunno if it will in the future). Only rain and storm wind.
but I'm planning to go snowboarding, I've never done that so I really want to go but I can't because I lack money

Well I sure will go snowboarding next year !

I hate being cold and winter is not for me. I'm from Blackpool, UK though and it is too cold there

I live in Las Vegas..our mountains arnt that good than over there..but theres more snow..its been raining lately.

Well where I live you have to enjoy the winter as it is about 8 months long I love HOCKEY and just ice skating in general. Aswell I snowshoe often and snowmobile just about everyday.

I may learn in the future.

I live in the southern hemisphere so it's not winter here Is skiing fun? I'm thinking of trying it.
