Well, heres my first take.. all the others had to many mistakes. I really think I'm going to try and write somthing for this instead of improv like all the others. Well anyways here it is!

Attached File  take1BT.mp3 ( 861.22K ) Number of downloads: 155

Attached File  take1noBT.mp3 ( 884.49K ) Number of downloads: 140

Really annoying, in the begging the noise gate kept chopping off my sound because guitar volume was not full. Ahh.. And thanks Smells for the sound, I edit'd it a bit, not much though. I really like it!

Gahh.. After listening to it, I'm forcing my self to retake.. I'll try and come up with somthing decent over the next few days.

thanks Tjchep, yes I normally tweak the sounds a little from others, they are normally very close, but obviously due to different pick ups etc you`ll need to tweek them a little, thank you for you take smile.gif

I can feel your emotions. The switching between pickups was really nice and your vibrato is great. You have been working on Marus Neoclassical lessons, haven't you? Excellent job! Very nice tone as well.

PS: Sorry if I'm not supposed to post here because I am not in the callab, but this moved me.

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

Thanks for the nice comments man!!

Hah, Yeah I've been working on the pickup switching thing for the past week or so really like the contrasts it gives you. Going to retake though, really not happy with the begging, I think It could be good. Just got chopped up a bit to much.

Beginning was great. Just a little muddy and low volume. Maybe a little brighter tone and aggressive like the Blues lesson (via like Marcus). Great work! Loved it! Best so far.

Can't wait till I can share.

I had a play with this last night - lots of fun! Problem with this is that its unbearably epi, and each solo will take you to the heights of emotion, then it drops you down to mothing and starts again .... I predict that the final mix will be an emotional rollercoaster!

Nice takes guys smile.gif
