Why do people think these are good quality guitars? EVERY SINGLE dean ive ever played, all 26 of the, have had something break WHILE IM PLAYING THEM. blink.gif and dont even get my started on the razorbacks, made in china? huh.gif forget it. im highly doubtfull that dime actually designed these things, and if he did he would be disappointed. so please, why are these things considered good?

Hey,

Hmm.... unsure.gif
Are u sure they were not low end models, i mean im sure the higher ones are very good.
A friend of mine bought a dean a year back, i played on it, and wasnt all that bad.
I mean im sure people wont just buy just like that.
Though im not big fan of dean, im sure they make some mighty fine guitars.

Michael Angelo Batio, Rusty Cooley, Nile, The Scheckner Brothers, the list goes on and on. They can't be all bad.

+2 Don't forget Dime and Dave Mustaine. And I think Deans are great, but I did notice that at Guitar Center they are often very messed up because people who know nothing about guitars are instantly attracted to them and screw something up. I would say they're of the same quality as any other main stream company.

Lets all buy Dean guitars just because Dimebag played one. They are useless pieces of junk and making money off a dead man. That is nice of them. I hate Dean with a Passion. I hope they go bankrupt and then at least they can't sell guitars that Dimebag would be embarrassed by.

Others may feel different. That is my opinion.

People turned towards Dean even long before Dimebag. For goodness sake, Kansas plays Dean Guitars.

Did i ever say a word about Dimebag?

Vinnie Moore just got his signature model this year and i wouldn't say he's a guy who would play a "piece of junk" wink.gif
Is MAB the guy who plays a piece of junk? Or Rusty? I don't think so...and as SLASH91 said: "The list goes on!"

Talking about Guitar Centers - even JEM sucks at guitar center because it is off the wall after all the transportation and temperature changes. I bought my JEM with an aweful setup, but after i got it home and did my own setup it turned into a shred-machine smile.gif

I never look at low-priced guitars because in my opinion, the only low-priced guitar that is good is Ibanez RG series.

Seriously, for $1,100 a razorback should be made in the U.S.A and have an original floyd rose, not some crappy tremolo arm made in china by prepubescent children shackled to chairs working for 12 cents an hour.
Edit:all those artists are playing on custom shop models. maybe dean should just cater to pros!

Rusty had his contracts with Jackson and Ibanez, MAB had 3 of his signature guitars made by Charvel so i think your theory is falling apart wink.gif
