It's 1900$ - USA Custom is only built for Rusty himself. The "mass" model is built in J-Custom shops so i don't have to worry about the quality of it wink.gif

1900? thats £950 over here...hmm...

I tried a few more Deans at the weekend and they are incredibly bad guitars. Some of the custom artist models are ok but the standard models are rubbish.

I'm sorry - JEM is made in J-Custom shop - if you call JEM a crap than any other guitar is a piece of garbage...
RC7 for mass is also made in J-Custom shop in Japan so it will be at least as good as JEM.

comparing deans and ibanez is like comparing chocolate and crap. which would you rather eat?

Did you even read my previous post?

Both JEM and RC7 are made by same people in the same shop. J-Custom is a shop which makes guitars of a higher price range.

Im not talking about the super expensive deans, im talking about the HUGE amount of crap guitars they market towards average players. you know, the ones made by starving chinese children shackled to chairs.

Yeah that's exactly the point - the cheap models are made in cheaper factories. The higher priced models are made in custom shops and sure don't suck.

Ah, but i bought it secondhand, the Chinese don't get my money.
edit: also, thanks to world consumer "culture", its pretty much impossible not to buy Chinese made products, which is why companies like dean can get away with producing crap for the vast amount of their inventory and call them "the worlds finest guitars", its just out of control consumerism with no quality control.

The funny thing is - you never know what you're buying...how do you know where your amp was built? How do you know where those oranges you're eating are coming from? How do you know the gas you're buying for your car is actually a high-quality gas and not mixed with water at, let's say, 50-50 ratio? Are you sure that's actually a cow meat you're eating?

Please let's not turn GMC to "Matrix" - "should i take the red pill or blue pill..."
