Okay, I decided to make a little challenge for myself to keep me busy smile.gif I've selected a bunch of lessons, and arranged them in order by level of difficulty. I will upload a new lesson in this thread ( once the lesson in finished obviously smile.gif ) every now and then, to keep you guys updated on my progress smile.gif

Okay so here is the first lesson from my list:

Trond Vold's - Rock solo - Beginner

Attached File  Rock_solo.mp3 ( 1.69MB ) Number of downloads: 246

And as always, use criticism, and tell me what parts should I work on smile.gif

Next lesson is Marcus Siepens - Pentatonic Solo Lesson

Cheers smile.gif

Nice! smile.gif
You kept the timing 99% right, and did the fast runs at the end really good!

There's 2 things i noticed though, it sounds like one string is a tad untuned here and there, and some of the bends were a bit off, like in the first section (the bend on the 10th fret B string), it didnt go all the way up.

All in all, i think you did a really good job smile.gif

Excellent! And yes the B string is by a couple of cents down, and bends need refinement if we wanna go into details.

Thanks guys smile.gif The Pentatonic solo is coming up really nicely, I will post a raw take in the weekend smile.gif

About the BT's, I use a Free Sound Recorder program to record them straight to my computer.... make sure that you have selected the stereo mix in your audio cards setup, and put the volume to the middle, and then just record the damn thing biggrin.gif

Due to some changes in my list, this next lesson is not the pentatonic solo lesson as I said, but Muris' Mark Knopfler Style lesson smile.gif I'm still practicing it hard and I'm quite not ready to play it with the BT, but here's a raw take of it smile.gif

Attached File  Mark_Knopfler_Style_Lesson.mp3 ( 938.96K ) Number of downloads: 179

And to keep the Knopfler feel alive I'll add this photo, just for the h*ll of it biggrin.gif

I have a Korg Pandora like Muris, and used his settings that he told in a thread some time ago, and modified them a bit to get that sound smile.gif
