How Does Brian May Get These Sounds?

I'm not sure, can only guess at this point. At about 22 seconds, I don't know if he is using a doubler, or maybe two notes with vibrato. Anyway that is a neat lick, if anyone can identify it.

Then at 3:25 it is really confusing, because it sounds like two guitars playing, but he is the only guitar. It is live. I am not sure what is going on there.

I think i can awnser that. He is using delay. On youtube there are i think some vids where he explains this. I have a brian may setting on my spider amp that sounds almost exactly like this. I'm not 100 % certain, but about 95% certain that he's using delay biggrin.gif

Wouldnt know how to play the first one you ask about- but yeh i think the second one has a delay which is being modulated- pitch shifter or something perhaps.
