Hey

Anyone got an opening for a beginner/intermidate guitarist? Playing most sub-genres of rock, metal and blues (though more of a "melodic" player than "speed/shredder" (yet))

So please send me a PM ^^

I'd like to try out! I'm pretty new to recording though..... and level, well, I can play rythm PRETTY good, and solos will do with practice, nothing speedy!! fastest I know is the sweet child solo! I like rock, classic rock, ACDC, metallica, GNR deep purple led zeppelin and such. Let me know if there are any spots available. As a guitarist that is...

Hi,

If possible I would like to give it a shot as well. Consider myself somewhere between beginner /intermediate level, depending on the technique, speeds etc.

I like most styles but play quite a lot of blues, rock and some jazzy stuff.

Cheers,

Roger

This sounds like a great way to learn

Anybody up for an 80's style Thrash band?
The type of metal that just makes you wanna scream and headbang!

I noticed a few people interested in metal, but I don't know if you guys are in bands yet?!

I play guitar and would consider myself intermediate. I can handle rhythm and some non shredding solos

just a quick question though, I'm just clarifying that I need to do a collab before being able to participate in a virtual band?

oh and just a quick suggestion:
would it be possible to have a page that shows all the current and upcoming bands, and what positions they need filled?

Wow no one has registered since August? ...huh.gif
Well I'm not sure this registration topic is still alive but I'll register!

Level: Beginner-Intermediate (In the middle of beginner and intermdiate. No one's ever rated me so I don't know)
Style: I'm open to any style but I prefer Rock (any style of Rock). I also like the Blues (especially if it's Bluesy rock!)

Hi Minz80, glad you registered! Do you have recording gear? If so, could take a look at some of the open collabs and jump in on one so we can get you out there for any of the bands looking for new members. smile.gif

The only recording 'gear' I have is Audacity (it's like Reaper).
I just did a collab here: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=19597
I had some troubles with the backtrack getting picked up by the mic but now I know to use headphones rolleyes.gif

The thing about being really stupid, is that there are a zillion ways to be a moron. There are usually several ways to be intelligent, given a situation, but it is a small finite number. But there are always a zillion ways to be to blithering idiot. So finding a new way to have the intellect of an artichoke is nothing to be proud of really, it is easy to do.

So true... To bad im still an artichoke haha

Hey guys, VB Men in Blues might have some place for new members. Check our board, within some days, you'll see a thread there about us searching you!

We are a beginner/intermediate band. I'm more beginner, Coffeeman is more intermediate (maybe even a bit advanced). We play mainly Blues and Rock, but of course we can always discuss this. Right now we're busy with Two Princess, from the spindoctors.

EDIT: these positions are overtaken now tongue.gif

pls no more entries!
