The only probs with the instructional vid Skenny put up is that you need Vegas Pro to be able to access the custom features I have vegas Platinum

lil update:

I tried Ivans suggestion, I rendered to a good quality, the last one I tried was actually .mov but really most of them that I tried turned out to be good quality just varying file sizes.

Moyea video4web, was great cut my largest file (89mb) down to 29mb, that was the first good start, I used the high quality setting and adjusted the bitrate setting to its highest, then uploaded to you tube, I was then at least able to get the option underneath the video to watch in high quality, which looked ok, not too bad at all.

so, next phase I`ll experiment with Siggums codes for the embeded links from youtube to see if we can insert them with the higher quality settings

Hey Chris, can you post up a vid that your happy with? I'm a bit confused, even when I upload files around 25 megs, I still get the option to watch in high quality.. Just want to compare a bit.

if you have a vid that has the "higher quality" option add &ap=%2526fmt%3D18 to the end of the embeded code in the forum, that should then play it in HQ

I`ve been trialing it on another vid that gives me the option and it works, only trouble is the video wasnt that great in the first place! lol, I`m just upoading one now, if it gives me that option (for some reason its only certain files?) then I`ll post the results, but give it a try

right, basically, if you follow Ivans advice above, render your video into really good quality, then convert it with a high bitrate using video4web, (use the youtube option but change the settings to higher quality) upload and wait for it to process, afte a while it should give the two options, one normal and one higher quality, then use "&ap=%2526fmt%3D18" at the end of your embeded code in the forum and it will automatically play the higher quality version it will only work on youtube videos that have the two playback options.

yea, had to do a bit of delving to find your post lol! but thats why it didnt work before Ithink, the video your linking to has to have the two playback options,

but I think the time was worth it, the difference between the two videos is amazing

I tried to upload mp4 file to forum, and it didn't support it! A moderator should take this to kris or whomever able to fix it.
