Hey Emir, thought I also give you more detailed story about my playing. So, as I said I've been playing for 2 years. It started around december 2006 when me and my classmates went ahead forming a band, I was playing bass at the time, but my friend played that too, so I took the role as the guitar player. We were playing some "Enter Sandman", "Sad but True" kind of Metallica stuff. Just covers. But that band just lasted a few months. So I was sitting at home for a few months playing Iron Maiden, rhythm guitar mainly, because those solos were to hard for me. And then I found GMC. That was 1,5 years ago. I started learning all sort of stuff. Practising a lot of hours every day ever since. Mainly lead at that time. On that summer I discovered Megadeth, fell in love with thrash and practiced much harder songs. Then around the end of 2007 my brother asked if I wanted to take the spot as lead guitarist for his Thrash metal band. I said yes. Then around January 2008 I wrote my first own song and solo. I have done my first and 5 gigs in total with the band last year. Few months ago, me and a friend started a Folk/Power/Melodic Death Metal band. This is the first time I've composed everything in songs, I always just done guitar riffs. And also with this band, composing things I can't play yet. Well, that's pretty much all. Pretty messy, but hope it helps you Thanks for this very helpful info. I didn't need all the detailed history but it was a nice read You are in the next group so I hope I can upload your video today. I can only imagine the hours and work put down for this!? Hope you don't get fatigue, and slow down towards the end... Then me, with this username, probably being the last in the last group may have this review: "Hello Mr ztevie! OK, dude, you need to practice some more. And tune yer guitar for god's sake. Bye!" hahaha. No I will put you in front of the group 3 It takes 20-30 min to do one video. I am not sure if the group 3 can be finished tomorrow but the day after most probably. -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

Ok, take it easy... Relax some, kiss your wife, watch some TV, there's no need to rush like this... For us there is no mean to rush! I mean, who want to hurry to their own execution!? All above done Getting back to work Wow, Emir I'm speechless. You made yourself a lot of work with the video comments. That's a great idea and it is very helpfull- almost the same as getting a privat lesson from you. I did't saw all videos yet, but by now it's a bunch of interesting information. Of course a special thank for commenting my take, you gave me important tipps for improving my technique and the way of playing. I will work on my issues and try my best, but I can't promise that I'm able to solve them all, because I'm not a guitar hero . I'm sure, that we will see us again in one of the next collabs. Once again, thanks a lot for this exceeding collab and your work! cheers Strat Thank you I am very glad if it was helpful Emir: Thank you. It's hard to describe how much I appreciate the depth you went to in your analysis of my take. Not only, is it so substantial to have a guitarist of your ability to give my work even a listen, but your comments were spot on, and something I can learn from immediately. I think one of the best ways for me to really nail what you have described is to go back immediately now to revisit this very solo and apply your suggestions. I'll do this tonight when I get home from work. I'm greatly looking forward to the next collab. Man, you've set a pretty high standard for us all, and that's a good thing. Again, a sincere heartfelt thanks for everything ... the great backing track, the great mixes, and your exceptionally fantastic analysis and critique of all the takes. Jim. Thank you. I am looking forward to the next one so all of you can show how much you picked from these comments. I am glad if I could help -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile

Sorry for waiting guys. I had a problem with my camera and was fixing it till late. Yesterday I had one more request for the collab participation so I had to remix the Group 3 and include that last one. Now there are 27 participants. The mix for group 3 will be posted shortly and the videos for group 2 will be uploaded today as I am finishing them.
Rock on! A big thank you for all your hard work in this collab, Emir. I have taken your comments on board and will work towards improving my soloing. I must do a lot of work on modes, and get away from the comfort of the pentatonic boxes. Also, I need to start building up a licks library. I have just begun work on sweeping and tapping lessons which should add to my playing. I'm still trying to tame my Digitech RP250 and will do some work on finding a better sound (the preset I used will now be deleted). Oh well, back to trumpet practice ... Heheh, was that you I compared the sound to a trumpet? Your take wasn't bad at all but there are things that can be improved. That's why we are doing all this together so I can tell you my oppinion. Thanks for your comment. -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
