Hey there,
I currently practising Paul Gilbert´s Echo Song and I wanted to record myself to hear it. I opened Reaper as usual and started recording. During this everything sounded ok with the delay, but when I listened to the record, there was no delay anymore. Could somebody help, please? I use POD Farm.

No, I´m using Digital Delay and I just tried to record stereo and mono (left plus right). Here´s the exact setting in POD Farm:

maybe pod farm has an option to pass the dry signal further to the DAW while playback is what you see on screen.

The audio track in Reaper records what it hear. So start looking in POD farm for sending the mixed signal including all effects and modulations.

You are using external effect. Your signal is probably recorded 'unprocessed' and if you don't activate your fx during playback you won't hear it. That's actualy the right way of recording. I don't know in Reaper but in Sonar I know.

I agree with Ivan. The take is a little bit messy because is not precise and the delay just don't work the things on favor. If you keep it practicing I'm sure you'll clean that up wink.gif
