Hi

Anybody know of a software metronome I can download (preferrably for free). I cannot use my electronic beepy one when my son goes to bed - he's only 3! I need something I can use on the PC with ear phones.

Mac or PC - I have both!!! (I'm posh when it comes to PC's).

It's tough being a dad! I can't use an amp when he's asleep either. wink.gif

Thanks

JT

i like "weird metronome". does the job well. i tried others that did not work so well. satisfied with this one. just google. just noticed that the word "weird" does not obey the rule "i before e except after c or when sounding like a as in neighbor and weigh. i guess that is because it is weird.

well, cause you are a dad and have to deal with that i looked it up for you.

http://www.download.com/Weird-Metronome/30...4-10153027.html

that is a good source because it is always spyware free.

not easy taking care of 8 needy cats and a dog either. i used to really like to eat chicken. cats like chicken, now it is an ordeal. cats really like chicken. its tough. one of my cats plays my guitar sometimes though, need to get a video of that. he wacks at the strings.

Try 'Rhythm Rascal' . You can use it as a metronome and as a drum machine as well. Try it, you will like it more than a metronome.

rhythmrascal seems pretty nice for a free item. i had to install the Evilsoft stuff first, but that was easy enough. yes, i would say go with rhythmrascal.

Try Ymetronome! Best one I've tried and it's totally free (only registration needed by email). Has alot of functions and settings. I don't know the direct link but just Google "Ymetronome" and you'll find it!

I know you found one that you liked already, but just in case somebody else comes looking for they can use online without installing any software I've been using this:

http://www.metronomeonline.com/

Handy for when I'm somewhere that I don't want to install any software.

theres a handy metronome in this website:

http://www.8notes.com/metronome/

you dont need to download it, its already tehre on the page. you can also choose different types of beats, for example, pop beats, rock beats, or just the simple metronome click. try it. smile.gif
