Came across these things on the net, not widely available but the name has instant appeal for me. Lots of models with lots of different PUP combos, this particular one is a tele style but with coil taps on both PUP's. Apparently they are made in Korea but finished and set up in Nashville (Across the road from Sun studios in fact!) which means a nice low price, this particular model is around 500 stirling.
Started by Tom Keckler (From Schecter old days) and used by clapton, Page, Bono, Billy gibbons they seem a damn fine instrument, also gets a four out of five from guitarist magazine.
Reminds me very much of a cross between a Nighthawk and a telecaster, no bad thing!

What do we think? good alternative to a Tele??

The youth of today! theyve been around a long time mate in various guises anyway, the slightly "Different" looks are because of the smaller type of body and the quite long scale length, makes it very similar to a Gibson Night Hawk (Or Blues Hawk as pictured) which I have played and are brilliant guitars but very hard to come by (Blues Hawks even more so!).

Attached Image Attached Image

The St Blues has a 25 1/2 inch scale length same as a tele/strat and so does the Nh, which is why the necks look a bit too long for the bodies, I love it though!

Beats a crappy piece of garbage death metal yawn fest anyday.

They are excellent guitars, I`ve heard one before. Some guy plays one in the bar scene in Edmonton, really nice sound.

About bloody time you!! biggrin.gif

Just kidding mate, I actually went and demo'd this exact model (The BM IV) today and was very impressed, really did feel like a fender neck on a small lightweight body, the HB sounded cool with OD (They even had my amp!) but there was still a good bit of twang in there too. I was really impressed with the quality, the finish was as good as any guitar I've seen. I just need to try a tele (The baja player looks a good bet) again and ill make my choice, although i am leaning this way now!

They are, but personally I think I'd swing towards the St Blues myself, just because it's that little bit different!! To get a more authentic 'Tele Twang' it would only need that Bridge HB Coil Tapped, so don't be worried by that!!!

Looks cool, I would love to check one out!
I'm going to Nashville NAMM this summer, maybe I'll be able to try one out?
