It looks like an extremely versatile interface with a lot of cool things you can do right out of the box. And they have put high quality A/D converters in it, should sound terrific. I don't currently use modeling software, but with something this cool to control it, I might have to start!

Thats very cool, but I already have an interface so no good for me, unless it can be in series with my ux2.

That is pretty cool. I'm not sure exactly what you get from Amplitube software with it, but it looks like a good package. I like the modular approach, but I think if you get wah you will still definitely need external footswitch with two switches. I'm not sure what's the cost tho..

Yeh the cost will make or break this items sales, cause if its better to just get a midi controller + interfaces say and FCB1010 which has two expression pedals and lots of switches is alot better than just one expression pedal + interface then having to but the extra switches and extra expression pedals.

I agree 100%. Still with FCB1010 you still need interface, but the price is lower so.. I would go for FCB1010 if I would be needed to control the software. But controlling the software at home doesn't have to be something that will be used a lot in my experience.

Your right Ivan. You will need the optional foot switch and the other optional expression pedal to have the complete set-up.

With the optional pedals, and the complete guitar/bass software bundle, your looking at around $600. So yeah, a bit pricey for sure.

That is sure pricey man.. I'm using couple of modelers atm GR3, Amplitube Fender and TSS Secret plug for extra drive on the Fender. I actually (when I think about it), never had the need to use any controller for those modelers ever. I think the controller option is useful but just not needed that often to justify the cost. On the other hand, there are people who will definitely benefit from it, but it's a narrow targeted population.
What IK Multimedia tried here IMO is to just put out a competitive piece for GR Kontrol Hardware unit, and they tried to simplify things and insert interface so people could buy them as all around package (and use Amplitube products only ofc). The interface however looks a bit clumsy to me, specially with those tones of cables and external footswitches that have to be bought. I would definitely prefer one piece unit with cables in the back like processors have. But we'll see who knows... wink.gif

Man you are a saint! This is what I was searching for about 6 months now... Live long and prosper biggrin.gif \m/

And also people I think you are missing something... This unit actually is a low latency soundcard... I think this justifies the price, think of this, on stage I'll just have to use my MSI Wind clone 10 inch laptop and this pedal, maybe one expression switch and add this to my existing gear... I already have a FCB1010, so this is just the thing for me. Only one question remains I'll have to find a way to ship it to turkey... biggrin.gif
