Hi guys!

I've bought a Schecter Hellraiser C-1 BLK, its like 2 months old now. But it seems it cant handle the bending. Its getting out of tune after a couple of bends, so it would be nearly impossible to play a whole song while it sounds great.
I might exaggerates liiitttlleee, but it gets out of tune however.

Could it have something to do with the intonation? Because i must intone my guitar, i made a thread earlier about i can't play the lower frets (while playing "crazy solos") because then its sounds a little bit out of tune too. but i don't know really.

Is it possible to fix if i go to the guitar shop and let them fix of something?

A good idea would to go to a guitar tech and tell him the problem and see if he can fix

does it have a floyde rose?? im looking into getting one as well

Maybe the tuning pegs are faulty?

If it's out of tune on different strings at different places on the neck I'd suggest taking it to a Tech for a check up, it sounds as though i) The intonation is out and ii) that the neck profile/truss rod needs adjusting.
I'm assuming that yours is the one without a Floyd Rose on it?

I guess I know what's your problem. It happens to me all the time, on every guitar I try, expensive or cheap one. Sometimes it can cause problems, but sometimes it's barely heardable. The problem is in the nut, strings get stuck in it, and when you bend you pull the string to the regular position. So my advice is: Tune the string to pitch, bend it, tune it again, bend it, tune it again, and repeat that until your string doesn't go out of tune after bending. Do that with each string, and your guitar will stay in tune much longer than usual!

i agree with ivan, the nut is what makes your guitar go nuts

I'm starting to think that Ivan could be right as well!!! I had completely overlooked the Nut as a possible problem!!
If you scrape some lead from a Pencil into the string slots it'll help! The graphite acts as a lubricant in the string slots and should help the string not to get caught in the Nut!
Try this before taking it to a Tech and being charged for it!!

Not likely. Even if it's not or badly intonated it should stay the way you tuned it, even if it's out of tune. Shouldn't change.

I can think of a few reasons.

- Worn strings
- Brand new strings
- Too tight a nut that will squeeze the strings tight
- Tuners that will slip or turn cause of the tension. (locking tuners huh, sure you locked them? not neccessary though)

I would have to agree with the NUT! graphite from the lead in a pencil or Graph-tech I think it is called from the nearest guitar shop should help. Also there is the hip shot" trem setter", and the "armed Adjuster". THese help with the stability issues with tremolo systems. Worth a look!

I know this is probably a dumb question but.. did you swap the strings from the time you got the guitar?

Ivan did a very nice question!. Maybe the strings are quite old and the guitar needs a strings change. Old strings go out of tune
