Oasis Breaks Up!

The Wonderwall rockers Oasis has broken up after Noel Gallagher left the band after an intense quarrel with his brother Liam. The band will always be missed, especially by myself as they were one of the sole reasons why I picked up the six-string.

Its probably been coming for a while this, I was heavily into oasis about thirteen years ago but the music has fell away since those times. Noel was the talent anyway, Liams just a schlepper.

Like sted; i was into oasis in the nineties, but there last few albums have been very poor. I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner, they will probably get back together, it wouldn't be the first time they said they were finishing after a bust up.

According to Reuters, they were fighting when Liam smashed Noel's guitar and his leave was probably due to Liam's poor behaviour and sibling rivalry.

That's a shame really, they're pretty good..
But I understand Noels decision to leave the band, as I couldn't work with Liam either biggrin.gif
Noel have already recorded songs for a solo album a little while ago I believe, so hopefully that'll turn out good smile.gif

no surprise really, liked oasis when they first came out but was quickly put off them by Liams arrogance and his recent pretension of thinking he is john lennon.
seeing as noel was the brains behind it all i am sure that he will be more than successfull in any new endeavours
