I just found this and thought everyone might like it.
This dude kicks ass, and you have to love the stack of Marshall amps behind him. This is how rock should be played smile.gif

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

When I first heard of MAB, I was like "WOW MAN!!", but then, after listen to him a couple more times I was like "Is that all?". It's not a bad player at all, actually, he's very good. But, he has something that I don't like. Don't know why

I noticed the same and especially after watching his clinic I definitely agree. Still don't know what I don't like but something about the personality even though he's got a monster technique.

I'm glad some of you are enjoying the clips. I have never heard of MAB till last night when I posted.

The guy reminded me of Nyjal in Spinal Tap laugh.gif except his playing was really solid.

Cheers

Makes perfect since to me. I will take good melodic content over speed, but this guy has really clean AP like Paul Gilbert and I guess that is what attracted me to him. Well there was the stack of Marshall AMP's behind him which reminded me of some days long ago smile.gif
