No. I mean "Tremol-No". Not tremolo. Easy to confuse. It is a product that you install in place of the existing tremolo unit. Although, I may well be mistaken that you are mistaken? Anyway, either way, here is a link to show you what I mean: http://www.tremol-no.com/
I am considering installing one in each of my guitars that has a tremolo. This post has been edited by Neurologi: Sep 11 2009, 05:22 AM -------------------- My gear? Mesa Boogie Triaxis - TC Electronic G-Major - Marshall 9200 Dual MonoBloc (2x100W) - Fender Roc Pro 4x12 (300W) + a whole lot more!

There are still some issues with timing on those faster licks,
you tend to swallow note or two in the end of each lick so they don't sound as compact as they should. So keep fixing those spots is possible but lets break things a little, you've done good job with it so far. Time for improvised take! As I told you earlier, if you're up for melodic line I suggest you to sing a little over backing and catch those notes on fretboard, feel free to add all other "guitar" licks ofc, pentatonic patterns, legato licks, AP etc. And you don't have to FULLY improvise a take tho, you can compose few lines in the lick, I'm fine with that. -------------------- Youtube

Nice job!!!
You really came up with some sweet and catchy lines here, well done. There is 1 thing that might be improved here imo, it's about those strong notes I told you about earlier. Lets analyze what we've got here. First there were G and D notes over Ebmaj7 chord, 0:04-0:07, this works great cause both notes are included in the chord. Then we had D note over Cm chord at 0:10, now this was a bit unstable, D works as 9th over Cm chord but it would be much stronger to land on C or Eb notes, try it out to hear how it sounds. Next note that caught my attention is Bb note over Eb/F at 0:25, Bb is included in Eb chord but since we have F in bass it's far safer to stick with notes on F chord, like C or A notes per example. And finally part over D chord at 0:42-0:45, I really missed this chord in guitar line, try to put F# note to point it out nicely, you can replace note G at 0:43 on high E string 15th fret with F# on high E 14th fret to get the idea. you can even do with small D or D7 arpeggio here, that should work as well. Good work nonetheless, this ain't easy backing to play over, well effort! Check out those lessons above that I posted and let me know which one you would like to start so I could give you BT. -------------------- Youtube

Wow.. great review there.. I didn't realize you would go into that much details. Thank you so much. I will try editing these notes. You are very welcome and those tiny details are what makes music smooth. I am still practicing this same lesson to get the timings right. I will record one tomorrow (last take hopefully) and move on. I would like to try the fusion jam!! Sounds good to me, here's backing for Fusion Jam! Fusion_Jam___Intermediate_BT_120_bpm.mp3 ( 818.12K ) Number of downloads: 5 My palm and finger tips are hurting (never been like that). I definitely played softly and since your advice, I have been picking hard and also more vibrato, bending, live feel on the left. It does hurt. The tips are really hard now, dead cells but I can bend, vibrato better. Thanks to you I know. But it simply has to hurt sometimes if we wanna achieve a progress, and you're making major one, no doubt. Muris, just a question. Will doing these lessons help me improve the sync and speed thing? I know its practice but since I suck at speed (even at level 5-6, you saw), it might be better doing lessons that specifically focuses on these issues? I know I want melodic and soloing stuff, but maybe we can try excercises first? Suggestions... Every single thing that you practice helps you with sync and everything, no worries. And we will get to exercises for sure, actually I have tons of speed stuff at GMC that you might end up asking me to go back to slow melodic stuff, no rush. -------------------- Youtube

haha.. Yep, your level 5 speed is like shredding.. I can't imagine doing your advanced lessons.. even at low bpm. Okay, I will just stick to this for the moment then.
Cheers! |

Why is it sloppy all the time? not enough practice or is it just bound to happen? I have doing it all the time but still, if I play one section correctly, I mess up one small section from the other. I have been trying to record SLS lesson but its just not happening. My left arm is hurting (getting stronger I guess, just like when you are back from the GYM). I can play by force now but still I can't get the perfect take. I tried for 2 hours today.. I even tried rendering the video 2 times but thought they weren't so good takes. And at the end, when I thought it was the okay take, I missed one note. SUCKS BIG TIME!!!! I will try another one tomorrow. Does it happen to everyone or just me? Happens to everyone, no worries!!! There;s one good thing tho, as I said in some other topic, the more you practice and upgrade your skill it'll appear less and less often. It won't go away in total tho cause we're all humans, born to make mistakes every once in a while. -------------------- Youtube
