Here`s a clip of Joe Bonamassa with band, playing the opening track on his newest album, Ballads Of John Henry

Awesome and heavy blues, IMO biggrin.gif

...and I gotta say, it was quite a surprise to see which guitar the slide solo was recorded on, which by the way is an awesome slide solo!

Joe is such an underrated guitar player. His phrasing and tone is just from another dimension!

I`ve seen many complaining about his voice at f.i. Youtube. Personally, I think he has a great voice smile.gif

I love Joe Bonamassa! His playing style and voice are just so incredible and unfortunately underrated. On 11th December he´s going to play here in Luxembourg which made me so happy! However, I´ve got myself a concert that evening. dry.gif

Aoooowww, what a beautiful rendering of this song, that was a hit by Sam Brown in the end of the 80's (i think). The original version is good as well... :-) She's a great singer.... Joe really know how to pick his songs! smile.gif

It was indeed!!! 88-89 if I remember correctly!!
Sam's an amazing vocalist. She does a lot of work with Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra and she was also one of Pink Floyd's backing singers when I saw the Division Bell Tour and also the Delicate Sound of Thunder!!

Back on track, Joe B is awesome!!
