What ????? What do You guy's expect??? Im on a crusade against Fender's ridiculous prices, so there will be no Fenders in this competition, count on that!!!! laugh.gif Read my signature!

//Staffay

hm, i dont need the 8000 $ strat, ist ok when i get a fender mexico strat... biggrin.gif

Have you read the Guitar Tip of The Day from Kris???

Thicker string gauge gives a better sound, but I prefer thinner because it allows you to du so much more when soloing.

BOO!!!!!!!

I liked him, but know he comes out as a mollycoddle... (i have that word from the dictionary, im not sure about the meaning, i hope its not that bad biggrin.gif )

thats the most funniest thread here in GMC at the time... laugh.gif

Lately my fingers are in good condition and i didnt manage to ruin them in two days, so i gave up on participating in this comp... But a few minutes ago i cut myself into the thumb... with my guitar... i almost dropped my precious acoustic but i could catch it and somehow get a cut from it. about 1cm long and not very deep, but still is bleeding ...

Hehee.... I wonder if he ever played 0.11 or 0.12's for some weeks?? Coming back to .009's again is like enter a racing-track with the best car available.... Yeah, he's really a mollycoddle laugh.gif Spoiled from childhood I guess.... biggrin.gif
And in fact I have a Mexican piece'o'junk Strat that claims to be Fender, (oki,oki it is one of the only Fenders actually worth the money, or am I saying so in some sort of defense??? ) and I guess it's a quite good guitar, even that You may assemble a similar one with pieces found at any junkyard nearby....

Hmmm, on a damage like this we need some proof like a Youtube-vid of the actual situation! But if You can combine the blood with some really scary trails on the tips, You may get some extra points for the blood!!!! smile.gif

I've summed the current participants for this silly competition - which is actually not silly at all when it comes to the prize I prepared. And it WON'T still be any Strats, even though I might be eager to give away some of my lousy one's cause Im only using my Suhr atm.
Anyway, here is the points so far:

1. MirkoSchmidt 8.1
2. Dexxter 7.8
3. Crazy_Diamond 7.2
4. JamesT 6.5
5. Adrian Figallo 6
6. Gitarrero 5.8

Dont forget that is still some weeks left and barb-wire can be found at Your local christmas-tree dealer... biggrin.gif
Ooops, and participants can of course make multiple entries!!!!

Having a 7 strings or an 8 strings will give a lot of advantage to this competition!!. So, if you're planning to buy a guitar, go for a 7 right now!!. Hahaha

Yeah, You might have a point here, even that I might suggest practicing some SRV bends on an electric bass instead.... biggrin.gif

Nah, this is what you need:
[attachment=18766:superglue.jpg]

Applications:
Apply directly to fretting fingers and leave to dry. Alternatively, apply to fretting fingers and then immediately attach to another area of skin. Wait for adhesion and then remove fingers from flesh with force: INSTA-CALLUS!

that should take care of it, biggrin.gif

Rumours said that SRV did this, glueing his fingers on his right forearm because they were worn out while he was touring, but in my belief this is just a story..... biggrin.gif
