Between 1 am on the morning of Dec 23rd and mid-day today (27th) we have had (all to the tune of '5 Gold Rings'):

1 fallen oak tree (got hit by a mini tornado);

2 hour lightning storm (plus a further 6 major lightning storms and numerous other tormentas);

3 hour power cut (plus a further 22 other power outs including 2 that were each for 10-12 hours);

4 new big holes (in the main road where it has collapsed and other holes that were already there have got worse so that the road is now impassable);

5 scared pets (3 cats and 2 dogs who didn't like all the thunder and lightening).

The weather round here has been a bit poor over the last few days rolleyes.gif and we're all now in the process of clearing up. At one stage the road outside our house was a fast flowing river part of which diverted and came in through out front garden and across the patio at the front of the house. Some of our neighbors gave up and spent XMas in Seville.

Blue skies are back and we're now in to a long period of clearing up.

Think we started clearing up too soon rolleyes.gif - latest local forecast is that we're due another 4 days of storms starting in the next 36 hours...
