Hey all, thought I would share my latest acquisition with you all!

This is a Jaden Rose Custom, it wasnt built for me, I have acquired it used. Jaden Rose is a brit luthier in cambridge who builds quite mainstream looking guitars with a twist here and there to make them unique.

Specs:

EMG hum/sing pickups (Coil tap on bridge)
Mahogany body
Bubinga/Wenge/purpleheart multilaminate neck
Gotoh hardware
Brass nut
ebony fret board
Last eight frets scalloped
Oil finish

The craftsmanship is great in this, its based on an Ibanez RG but with far better workmanship and materials, it sounds awesome and was an absolute bargain, anyway, hope you like!

Nice one Sted!!!
I can vouch for the quality of Jaden's Bodies/Necks as I've built a couple of guitars for people using them. I also know the quality of his own work!!!
You're a lucky man, my friend!!

Haha! Well, not much mate, considering Jadens guitars are around 1500 new, I paid 350 for this, less than a year old!

It was a bargain mate, I would happily buy another, in fact I just might have my eye on a seven string.....

Awesome guitar man, I love that 5 piece neck, the whole thing definitely reminds of RGs but has a custom look to it, I bet it plays great!
Is the neck thin as in Ibanezs too?

Not that I can tell mate, it plays very nicely, thefrets havent really been touched! I dont think the neck is as thin as an ibanez but its very comfortable in the hand, more like a super strat really, the pups are pretty ferocious too!

How the heckles did you get this for 350 lol!

Same old reasons mate! People cant see past the name on the headstock when buying guitars, I knew this to be good quality as Ive followed some of Jadens stuff that hes built for people on SS.org and jemsite etc but because it doesnt really have that known name outside of the few in the know it got overlooked.

TBH its my favourite part of the guitar! Im quite an aggressive player and tend to really attack the fretboard but you have to back off with scallops or you will go out of tune on the fretted note, thats good as its gets me to relax more, which I really need to do!
