Exclusively PC, at the time? I'd have to say Castle Wolfenstein. Other than that, my gaming goes back to the original Pong console, and pinball machines.

In my history of computers it was Tetris on MAC, the second one's was "Leisuere Suit Larry" and "Police Quest" on Atari. The first PC-game was a flight-sim what I can recall, but that was much later, since Bill Gates computers sucks in the 80'ths..........

smile.gif I played that too..... Pinball machines was much more fun than any computer game, especially the mechanical one's without any particular electronics. They enabled You to cheat by tilting the whole machine and a lot of other tricks - it was kinda sport to play. I will try to get one of those as well as an old jukebox for my home in one of those days....

The first game I played was something I tried writing on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. The first PC I had was an Amstrad after that and I used to love the text adventure games. I know, I know.. I was a nerd

Played mostly Castle Wolfenstein on an Apple II (1980-81, around that time).

After that, it was games on Texas Instruments (TI 99-4a) and Atari (800XL). Never had a pc in the eighties, but did get a mac portable in 1990, which I used throughout my university years. After that, I finally got my first PC smile.gif. Think I played NHL 95 on that mostly in the first year. Couple of years ago, I switched back to Mac.

As I can remember it was Leisure Suit Larry on PC.

I had a C64, my closest friend a ZXspectrum and didn't get my first PC until the Amiga era was over.
I can'treally remember what games we played, Commando, Congo Bongo, Lode Runner and Manic Miner. Some zombie game on the Spectrum and Horace.
Before that I had an Amiga 2600 with some great games like Pitfall and Indiana Jones.

But first of them all on console it was Pong! smile.gif

Diablo was the first game I played on PC.

First game I ever played though, probably would be Metal Gear, Zelda, or Final Fantasy.

The games I've enjoyed the most since I started playing are

1) Boulder Dash
2) C&C
3) Bards Tale (Gotta love the monks for the critical hits and ridicilously devastaing punches lol)

well.. i was playing on a VIC-20 before i got a C-64.. on the VIC is was some sort of helicopter bomber game..
you had to bomb the top 1 or 2 floors on every building, before crashing into them.. the plane went back and forth lowering 1 floor each turn..

as well as a bowling game and an not-so-good version of pacman
on the C-64 there were too many awesome games to mention, but when i got my first 80286, 8mhz, 1 or 2mb ram, and a whopping 80 mb harddrive, the first games played was Leisure Suit Larry 3 (later i got the earlier ones as well, but this was the first)

LHX Attack Chopper was also amongst one of the first..

And of course Sim-City

I used to play paperboy on the spectrum in the late 80's, I also had a handheld donkeykong and pacman machine.

PC I think it was Robocop which again I'm pretty sure it was late 80's, my dad used to go mad as I hammered spacebar to fire!!

The very first one? It was some time ago when monitors were strictly B&W, it looked something like this, I can't remember exactly smile.gif

Speaking of first games ever, this was popular back in the eighties, first game I've ever seen as a kid laugh.gif
