I must admit that I want to believe because I love ghost stories ! But I probably wouldn't be able to sleep if I thought they really were around...

Hey Cosmin, speaking of the spO_0ky stories, could we talk a little about Transylvania and Vlad Tepes ?!!
Have you been there, in the famous castle of Count Dracula ? |

Wow, that's an amazing and haunting story... Tepes was an atrocious character... still, it's the stuff great heavy metal songs are made of !

hey Sinisa I've been there a lot of times since I was a kid - but the actual thing is that Vlad NEVER actually lived in that castle but... BUT, there's this other place called the Fortress Poienari - built in 1280 I think, by Negru Voda, a legendary romanian ruler - which is on a different mountain than the Brann Castle (the one everyone knows as count Dracula's castle) which was re-built by Vlad Tepes and it is so high that you have to climb 1500 stairs to get inside. It's high up on a cliff from which you can see the whole valey the thing is, that this place is supposedly occupying the third place among the most haunted places in the whole world. I went there with the same friend who has special powers and guess what...he told me...it's nice, but let's go later on that day he told me that he could see the ancient soldiers patrolling the battlements and one of them told him that it's not our place here and that we should go. This is the first time that this friend of mine told me about his powers of course, I didn't believe him at first, but after last year's encounter with the ghostly grandpa..I don't know. Anyway, Vlad killed a lot of people in that place, making them work on the fortress walls until they fell off the cliff (they were a clan of betrayers who wanted him dead, the lot of them) Great story Cosmin ! I always wondered where is a connection between real and fictional Dracula.I did some checking and came to this: "Most authorities believe the character of Dracula in Bram Stoker’s novel was based upon the historical figure Vlad Tepes , who intermittently ruled an area of the Balkans called Wallachia in the mid 15th century." HERE is a link that explains the whole situation! Finally, about the spooky stories,.......... bloodsuckers are everywhere around us |
