I realized that this is my first year when I haven't gotten a chance to bathe in the sea sad.gif so I was thinking it's not such a big deal after all, but I still miss it ..

How about you guys? Do you enjoy going over at the seaside or in the mountains? biggrin.gif

i passed 3 months in a row per year for 10 years...on the beach, so nowadays i can say that i am bit tired of sea. i would enjoy some time on those HUGEEE mountains with ice on top tongue.gif
if i remember well, it was in a mountain somewhere in Switzerland where i started to walk for the first time tongue.gif, but i don't remember

I enjoy both. I prefer sea as a holiday where I can rest, and mountains as more sporty adrenaline vacation, with skiing (and falling cool.gif ). I'm planning to go to Bulgaria in February.

It's a bit like choosing Metallica or Megadeth, Ferrari or Lamborghini, pies or donuts ! laugh.gif

I love mountainous country.. but I really do not get to spend enough time by the sea. I would love nothing more than to sip a cold drink with good company whilst gazing out into the ocean.. or bay cool.gif

I like both! I could go to the sea the last summer some to Cirse's summer mini tour. I could also go to this plays for 4 days the last year... both type of places generates different feelings.. I remember going in the car seeing the mountains and listening to Mr Bungle.. I can't explain what you feel if you combine Mr. Bungle with a mountains... biggrin.gif

I think I'd like to visit the mountains. I have seen the sea before. I'd like to be able to look out the window to some ice-capped mountains.

I grew up here in Southern California. Everything is so close. I have never been good in hot weather(it makes me sick), so I was happy when I went to University in Alaska for a year. I got to live in super cold weather and it felt great!(I also spent three months in Canada with my girlfriend's family). I prefer going to the beach in the ocean when it is raining and cold(no one else is there and I always loved the rain because we hardly get enough). Alaska taught me to love the mountains, and even after living in snow I love it so very much! As tied as I am to the ocean(I practically grew up on the beach) snow covered forests are my absolute favourite. Maybe it is because they are so damn METAL!

That sounds well cool.. I like good weather but I don't cope too well with extreme heat. The beauty of a cold terrain usually outweighs a hot place smile.gif
